Nature dictates the agenda. Every season offers a new way to explore.

The Season of Harvest

Summer and autumn in Dividalen are explosions of life. It’s the time to harvest from nature’s pantry.

Fly Fishing in Divielva

The river flowing just steps from your cabin is known for its crystal-clear water and wild Trout and Arctic Char. Whether you are an experienced fly fisher or just want to try your luck with a rod, the river offers peace and excitement in equal measure.Tip: Nothing tastes better than fish you caught yourself, grilled over the fire an hour later.

Gold of the Forest

In late summer and autumn, the forest floor turns into a treasure chest. Join the hunt for "Arctic Gold" (Cloudberries) in the marshes, or fill your bucket with sweet blueberries and lingonberries just outside the cabin door.
Context: This is a beloved local tradition and a mindful way to explore the terrain.

The Grouse Hunt

For those with the necessary licenses, the valley offers traditional small game hunting (Willow Grouse / Rype) in stunning mountain terrain. This is hunting in its purest form—challenging, sustainable, and deeply rooted in Norwegian culture.Note: Strictly regulated. Please contact us for seasons and permits.

The White Wilderness

When the snow falls, the landscape transforms into a silent, white canvas.

Walk on Water

Borrow a pair of snowshoes and float on top of the deep snow. It’s the easiest way to explore the forest in winter—no experience needed.

Skiing off the Beaten Track

There are no groomed tracks here, only endless possibilities. Put on your skis right outside the cabin and make your own tracks through the pine forest or up towards the mountain plateaus.

The Norwegian "Spark"

Try the traditional Norwegian kick-sled. It’s an eco-friendly, fun, and surprisingly efficient way to get around on the icy winter roads.

The Arctic Kitchen

Everything tastes better outside.
The campfire is not just for warmth; it is the center of social life in the wilderness. We have established a dedicated campfire area for our guests.
The Experience:
  • Master the art of lighting a fire with birch bark and matches.
  • Cook your freshly caught fish or morning coffee over the open flames.
  • Simply sit and stare into the embers—the oldest form of meditation known to man.
