A Return to Roots

This is not a hotel. It is a home with a soul, built by our family and preserved through generations. Staying here is an invitation to slow down and rediscover the joy of simple tasks.
We offer an authentic off-grid feel with modern electricity. There is no running water inside—instead, you fetch crystal-clear drinking water from the river just a few steps from the door. It’s a grounding ritual that connects you deeply with the Arctic nature.

"Before our arrival everything was well arranged. Plenty of drinking water and the cabin was already preheated. We were able to make wonderful snowshoe walks and then sit by the log fire.  Good bed with lovely down comforters. Really back to basics. All in all it was a very nice experience and the cabin exceeded our expectations in terms of atmosphere and charm. Monica thank you for letting us rent your cabin. I can recommend it to anyone."
Mitja
"We have been here twice, lovely place, very quiet and peaceful, perfect if you need to fully relax. Perfect combo with comfort in that it is easy to get the cabin warm and good, it also has electricity, but at the same time charm with outdoor toilet and no running water. For us a bonus that we can bring pets as we have a cat that goes on medicine and therefore it can't be alone at home - we would love to come back again!"
